Promoting the Value of Colonoscopy to Your Patients
Several tests are available for patients to screen for colon cancer. Colonoscopy is the only test which can detect and remove pre-cancerous polyps. The ASGE Value of Colonoscopy Task Force has developed education material and strategies to promote the value of colonoscopy to your patients and to your referring internists. Join ASGE on Thursday, March 4 for a Practice Operations Discussion Forum on Promoting the Value of Colonoscopy to Your Patients for a presentation and question and answer session on Value of Colonoscopy campaign, outreach program and valuable resources available through ASGE.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Learn about the VOC campaign and its efforts to promote colorectal cancer prevention via colonoscopy
  2. Learn about the outreach program
  3. Review and discuss the ASGE VOC safety resources
  4. Learn to use the VOC resources for outreach
